students In Action The Social Action Committee organized the Thanks- giving and Christmas baskets, a toy and clothes drive, and the tutoring program. The committee worked diligently, spending their spare time helping the disaster victims of the Windsor Locks area after the tornado struck there in October. This is a newly formed group that was founded by Mrs. Hagearty and many willing stu- dents. At the beginning of the year, we had a welcome to NWC party and a bake sale which proved to be very successful. For our first year, we certainly did assist many. 81
