Sandy is a person who constantly works to capacity at everything she does. She holds a very prestigious posi- tion as president of the National Honor Society. Sandy won the Outstanding Negro Student Award for her exceptional performance on her S.A.T ' s. Sandy is not gifted with just brains however, as her classmates elected her Queen of the Junior Prom. Other exploits of Sandy involve her in a tutoring program for Hartford youths, an active member of Girl ' s Leader Club, a co- chairperson of the Student Assistant Committee and the co-editor-in-chief of the yearbook. Sandy certainly has made her four years at Northwest beneficial to herself and to her fellow students. 43
