Honor Roll Senior Meg Andrews leads a very interesting life out- side of Northwest. She has been a member of the Hart- ford Chapter of the 4-H Club for eight years. In 1979, she was the state winner for her main project, which was pub- lic speaking. This accomplishment allowed her to attend the 1979 National 4-H Congress, Expanding Horizons, in November. The one or two winners from each project in each state met in Chicago for one week to share their plans and ideas. While in Chicago, there were group meetings, presentations, audiences with celebrities, and time for sight seeing. Meg is also interested in drama. During the summer of 1979, her summer job consisted of working for the Hart- ford Stage Company in Hartford, Connecticut. She audi- tioned for a part in the play Two Gentlemen of Verona, by Shakespeare, and was awarded a job in the vocal cho- rus. During the months of July and August Meg worked for twenty-five hours a week, which she was paid for her talents She found this work very enjoyable and a great way to be employed during the summer. Along with those other accomplishments, Meg enjoys working on campaigns. Since her family is involved in politics, she often finds herself making phone calls and handing out pamphlets at the polls on election day. 39 ' tamwraamttmumwm
