ORTI-IVVEST MR ORTHVVEST CABARRUS MARK INGRAM , A Time for Change This year the DYNAMIS Staff decided to step offthe beaten path and start a new tradition. In years past, only ladies have been chosen to represent the school as Miss Northwest. The staff came to a conclusion that not only should ladies be recognized, but guys as well. Mark Ingram was chosen by secret ballot in senior homerooms to carry the title of Mr. Northwest. The Miss Merry Christmas title is earned by competing in a pageant sponsored by Beta Club. By our change of pace, Allen Easley was voted by a secret ballot in senior homerooms as Mr. Merry Christmas due to his startling good looks and irresistible charm. The Varsity Cheerleaders sponsored a Mr. Body Beautiful contest. The com- petitors were varsity football players. The contestants' pictures were posted allo- wing students to vote by placing money in the corresponding jars. The overall winner was Ronnie Blackwell. The outcome was successful, and everyone was cooperative in choosing Mr. Northwest, Mr. Merry Christmas, and Mr. Body Beautiful. Since this new competi- tion went over well, it may become a new tradition. Cheryl Brinkerhoff juniors X 87
