Student Life is a very important section in the yearbook. Things included in a student section are the Prom, Miss Northwest, Miss Merry Christmas, Homecoming, special events that happen during the year, and school news. In the school news section, you will find the Morehead Scholar nominees, students who attended SPEC and other summer schools, Girls' and Boys, State, Quiz Bowl team, and other awards. The Student Life section is designed to inform students of what is going on at school and in the community. Most Student Life sections have a Year in Review spread that sums up the events of that year. The feature articles used in the Student Life section this year are the summer Europe trip, the beach trip after graduation, spirit week, the foreign exchange students, and the intramural sports program. Student Life is not only queens and awards but a wide variety of things that occurred during a year. Student Life is a major section of a yearbook because it shows what students are interested in.
