Most students spend their summer lounging around the pool or working hard, but some students didn't get to do that this summer. Mrs. Mullinax, a French teacher at Northwest, organized a trip to Europe. There were about 32 people who went on this trip with Randa Baker, Natalie Hodgens, Mindy Hughes, Jeanna McClannon, and Stace Ste- phenson representing North- west. The rest of the group was from a variety of schools. While touring Europe they visited four countries including England, France, Italy, and Switzerland. Some places they visited were the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Big Ben in England, Matterhorn Mountain in Switzerland, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa in ltaly. The group spent 16 days touring Europe. L'We had a good time but I wish we could have had more time to see everything. Europe is so big, and we visited four countries in two weeks. lt was just not enough time to see all there was to see, said Jeanna McClannon.
