'l N Q TROJ A FEVER: Catch It! Led by senior lVlost Valuable Player Kurt Wessler, the 'l SB7 Varsity Baseball Team finished a deceiving season with a S and 'IC overall re- cord. The program was loaded with talent, but sometimes the breaks didn't go their way. Wessler pitched his way to a E-I3 re- cord, played flawlessly at second base, and was one of the hottest hitters in crucial game situations. Tim Allen pitched a 4-5 record. l-lard-nosed first baseman Willie Knox batted .24'l, leading the Trojans in hitting. Next was All- Conference shortstop Chad Combs with a .SSC average. With growing fan support, Coach Nlarty Stamey and his upcoming boys of the summer hope to lm- prove the program to its full potential and regain those past State Champi- onship days. Cheryl Brinkerhoff ' Catcher .Jimmy Poston batted .SAO and played catcher with an aggressive style.
