EXCELLENCE IS NOT AN ACT BUT A HABlT - Aristotle To be a part of the academics depart- ment in a high school means more than planning lessons, giving assignments, grading tests, typing and recommend- ing students to colleges, and ruling with an iron hand as the image reflects. In- stead, it is rewarding to know that one has helped a young generation prepare for the real world. It takes all of us to get the work of the school accomplished. It is only our indi- vidual functions in fulfilling the mission of the schools which differ. Our mission is to help children achieve to the best of their abilities on a wide variety of fronts. We may have different functions, but we are all on the same team, states our principal, Mrs. Glenda Poole.
