J. V. Football Team The Northwest Junior Trojans, coached by Jim Gilreath, Bob Angley, and Russ Hartsell finished the 1975 football season with a surprising RRC record of 5-2-1 and an overall record of 6-3- 1. The Junior Trojans Offense, averaging twelve points a game, had wins over Forest Hills, Mt. Pleasant, Catholic, West Stanly, Sun Valley, and Concord. The Defense averaged seven points a game with losses to Kannapolis, Central, Parkwood, and a tie to Monroe.
