The band puts in another hour under the eye and ear of Mr. Maulden cflfozfgwaif jbbazzcfiman qlfifizz Spam mute or glzacfics Through each of the last four years, the Northwest Cabar- rus Band has striven for recognition. The band has performed at Davidson College, the state contest, Christmas parades, spring and Christmas concerts, in addition to playing for other high schools. The Trojan band puts in many hours on and off the field. Band members are found treading the gridiron a month before school starts with only the football team as company. Extra practice is also needed after school during concert season. Through the efforts of Mr. C. L. Maulden, our band has been molded into the finest band in the area. Mr. C. L. s XX s ix xsxs Q, ...LTV Mr. Richard Keasler A.B.g Catawba College Chorus The Northwest Cabarrus Chorus, under the leadership ot Mr. Richard Kcasler. has just completed another active year. The continuous practice during and after school, combined with determination and the desire of each person has resulted in a superior chorus. Throughout the year the chorus was involved in extracur- ricular activities such as performing at Wake Forest, the annual choral contest, and entertaining at various churches and schools. The chorus provided a Christmas Concert and Spring Concert before the student body. Music has inspired many students and has become a very important scene at Northwest as a result ot' the determination ol' both Mr. Keasler and the chorus members.
