As I sit here alone, scribbling words upon a sheet. of paper, and staring out into empty space, memories, bitter and sweet, flow endlessly through my mind. The faces of my friends and the good times we have had are etched forever on my mind. I think of all the awe and disbelief we experienced as freshmen, the sense of belonging as sophomores, our Junior- Senior prom as juniors, and all the admiration, pomp, and ceremony we received as seniors graduating into a new world, a new role, a new stage. 1 I see Northwest Cabarrus not just as a building or an institution, but as a place which we have grown to love and admire., The 1970 DYNAMIS staff wishes to create something that will bring back these memories, whether they be heartwarming or heartbreaking. We wish to make you a little more proud of our school and a little more proud that you were a part of Northwest this year. A yearbook of this magnitude could not be possible through the efforts of one person, but only by. the teamwork of a dedicated staff. Now, l would like to give some special recognition to the individuals who have made this year's DYNAMIS what it is. - to the 1970 DYNAMIS staff for their imagination, cre- ativity, and dedication to their goal, -' to our associate editors, Strick Dalton, Jody Little, Delaine Lee, Susan Cook, Sherry Rodgers, Barbara Wedding- ton, Sherry Ford, and Harriet Phillips for ajob well done with patience and understanding, T V - for never ending dedication and excellent pictures we owe a debt of gratitude to the darkroom staff, David Earn- hardt, Darrell Easley, Lynn Hipp, Jeff Atwell, and Rick Wattsg - to John Woodard, photographer, a special thanks for his time and sacrifices to get just the right picture, - to business manager Trudy Allen for her devotion to our cause, - to Mrs. Joy Hipp, business advisor, for her wisdom and encouragement to this, the '70 DYNAMIS, - to David Maulden for the special art work, - saving the best til last, to you, Miss Carolyn Plummer, we owe you all the love, time, and advice that you have given so willingly to try to make our 1970 DYNAMIS a success. I hope there is some part of this annual that will bring back something meaningful to each student. If so, our goal will be complete. Remember this is your annual and your school and it is what you make it to be. Ghz str., ...
