The club attended time trials for area races and served as ushers at the National 500 in October. They also entered a float in the Concord and Kannapolis Christmas parades. To gain experience, the Auto- motive Club offered to repair S'sick automobiles for the students and faculty. They also sponsored a uwinterize your car project to earn money to finance the club. The main project of the club is to prepare the audio-visual equipment for the Cabarrus County schools. Club members also repair television sets, radios and install tape players for the students. Any student, Sophomore through Senior, girl or boy, is eligible to take electronics. Leading the electronics club this year are President, Tony Overcash, Vice-President, Terry Turcotte, Sec.-Treasurer, Tom- my Taylor and Reporter, Paul Layton. Electronics members were tlseft to Righty Donald Leonar Mike Spears, Tony Overcash, Terry Turcotte, Greg Wherry, a Wayne Hughes. The club consists of seventeen members and their sponsor, Mr. Dwight Harwell. The Masonry Club practiced many long and hard hours on classroom projects before beginning their main project. Their special project this year was the construction of a field house in the football stadium. Many grateful athletes should direct their thanks to the hard-working Ma- sonry Club. - V, . V' J t.
