Susie Weddington azaifj Cifizazfzacfszi Dynamic is the only word to describe the Northwest varsity cheerleaders. Chief Kathy Hudson and CoChief Kay Baucom led the Trojans to victory with their zest and enthu- siasm. Boosting moral, the nine zealous cheerleaders con- tinuously covered walls with eye-catching posters, planned pep rallies, and performed skits to arouse Trojan interest. In addition to routine activities, the cheerleaders spent many hours preparing and sponsoring the Homecoming Dance and Sadie Hawkins Dance, which were both extremely success- ful. Lmioz Quik Cgsazfaczcfau Stimulating an atmosphere of junior Trojanic Spirit were seven skillful and determined Junior Varsity Cheerleaders. The exhibitions in new cheers and formations revealed in itself the time and energy each girl put forth in perfecting the cheers. Attending all J.V. activities these girls promoted an interest and never-dying enthusiasm in all Trojan fans. Credit should be given to co-chiefs Janice Jones and Karen Honeycutt, who contributed much of their time in an attempt to better Trojan spirit.
