Stephanie Barbee Jeff McCombs-Drum Major The band was an asset and an outstanding organization at N.C.H.S. this year. It began rehearsing early in the summer to ready itself for marching season. The eighty-eight piece band performed with expert precision at each football game. The band helped celebrate the Yuletide season by participating in the Concord and Kannapolis parades and combining with the chorus to entertain the public with a Christmas Concert. The year would not have been complete without the Pep Band, which performed at all pep rallies, home J.V. football games, and varsity basketball games. This small group, containing only twelve members, was truly an asset to the Trojan spirit. The Dance Band was organized again this year and worked hard to ready itself for performances at local clubs, civic organizations and dances, The band began rehearsing for the Spring Concert after Christmas vacation. This was the highlight of the year. The Spring Concert symbolized a year of fun and hard work that the Senior Members will never forget. 167 424414
