They were respon- sible for seating families and guests of the graduating class and handing out programs on both occasions. The two chief marshals, Rita l-linson and Cathy Cline, were in charge of leading the Senior class into the stadium during the impressive commencement exercises.

Dale, a member of the band, pep band, Beta Club, member of F.T.A., and editor of the Dynamis, exemplifies the funda- mentals of governing by serving as President of the Student Council. While participating in the programs at Wake Forest he attended lectures and special government classes. jeff Grjtwaff Jeff Atwell attended Boys' State at Wake Forest during the summer of 1969. Jeff, an active member of the 1970 Senior Class, is President of the band, a member of the pep band, Beta Club, and is a photographer forthe 1970 Dynamis. Jeff, along with other boys throughout the state partici- pated in events pertaining to the function of state and local government. ,mm
