Future Homemakers of America A popular club with home economics students is the Future Homemakers of America. The fol- lowing is a summary of the most important ac- tivities in which the members participated. In January, the club sent several delegates to the state meeting of the F.H.A. organization at which .Ethel Goss received the State Homemaker degree for outstanding work in the organization. 'During the winter months several girls worked for and earned the Junior and Chapter Homemaker de- grees. In May the girls entertained their mothers at a mother-daughter buffet supper. ln June, Bar- bara Baluta represented the club at the state con- vention at Pennsylvania State University where she was elected to the state office of vice presi- dent of public relations. To defray the expenses of the year's activities, the girls engaged in many money-making proi- ects. These F.H.A, girls are preparing a gay centerpiece for the Christmas party.
