i iM Don ' t Drink lh.Q Water The 1986 school play Don ' t Drink the Water , by oody Alien, hosted a cast o dramatic newcomers. Starring students Darren CandeJa, enni er Gardine, Scott Paredes, and Karen Krueger, the play consisted mainly of premiere performers. Under the experienced direction of Nick Beasanski, a newcomer .o Northville, ihe cast put on an outstanding performance. Incor- porating students o aW grade eveh, Mr. Beasanski gave students acting experience and helped prepare them for future AxamaWc endeavors. Due to the hard work and ingenuity o] Charles Kepner, the set construction crew, and various technical crews, production ran svaooiYAy. ii ' ) Anything Goes At NHS With a talented cast and dedicated crew, NHS students produced an outstanding show. Thanks to the combined efforts of Nick Beasanski and choreographer Jane Beier, Anything Goes, involving soloists and chorus members, blended smoothly thoroughout the musical. Anything Goes takes place on a plush 1930 ' s Love Boat-like cruise liner. Senior Terri Forte played Reno, a sexy nightclub entertainer who tantalizes the men of the ship with her fun angels, Anne Grij ith, Laura Garr, Tanya Hammond, and Karen Krueger. Seniors Rob Dietiker and Kada Pearson played Billy and Hope, with Kris Spigarelli as Hope ' s nagging mother. Pat Balai portrayed Moon ace, also known as public enemy number one, and Carrie Bickner played Bonnie, a Betty Boop accomplice to Moon ace. Sue Evelyn and Steve Valentini also held starring roles. Thanks to the help of assistant director Carrie Holla- day, chorus, leads, and crew cooperated to present a dazzling show. Karla Pearson and her mother (Kris Spigarelli) talk to the captain of the ship (Carl Brown).
