Time Warp Through Yesteryear The 1986 Homecoming court paraded proud- ly through downtown NorthviJJe, displaying the finest quahties NHS has to offer. Although the game against Canton did not reflect the high caliber of the Mustang players, students unanimously agreed that this year ' s Homecom- ing dance and activities were a tremendous success. Crowned king and queen, Tony Brin- ingstool and Susie Rahimi reigned majestically over the underclass representatives; Juniors — Jenni Stevens and Chris Anderson; Sophomores — Beth Swayne and Todd Daniels; Freshmen — Katie Kemp and Kyle Feliks. The band captured first place with their float, Rock Through the Ages. Time Warp Through Yesteryear proved to be a suitable theme for this year ' s dance, for Homecoming ' 86 will surely go down in history. 46 HOMECOMING

TT Sweet SmeJJing Pro its One of the most popular and pro- fitable fundraisers that the organiza- tions of NHS participate in is the flower sale. Through Mr. Michael BurJey, the school purchases carnations from South America at a minimai rate. The lowers are delivered on Fridays during school hours. Sold to students at the low price of one dollar, the average pro it from a flower sale is $300. In addition to the traditional colors, the carnations can be tinted to match holidays and special occasions. No matter what time of year flowers are sold, the students ' reactions are always positive.
