Social Studies Puts Students On Top For students interested in the world around them, NHS ' s Social Studies depart- ment is a must. With history courses ranging from U.S. in the Twentieth Century to Medieval and Ancient History, and psychology courses like Adult Living and Personal Psychology, Northville strides ahead of other school districts when it comes to understanding the past and present. New this year, Global Studies has made a signifi- cant impact on students who are concerned about world developments. Informative and stimulating, social studies courses are a definite high point in the educational lives of NHS students. The HiJJbottom Shoppe, located in the cafeteria, provides students with popcorn and candies during Junch. Through the NHS Co-op program, students can receive on-the-job training whiJe earning money and class credit. Positions range from oj ice assistants to nursing aides.
