Under the leadership of Miss Robison and Mrs. Green, the Girls' Athletic Association had a very excit- ing and eventful year. The guidance and coaching of both the advisors and the ability of the players proved to all opponents that N.V.'s G.A.A. was not to be under- estimated. President Kathy Margison and vice-president Paula Strande aided in planning a fun-filled year for G.A.A. Some of the events included two Waterskiing trips, one just for G.A.A. and the other for G.A.A. and sixth perioo boys' sports, G.A.A. also had a picnic at Griffith Park with horseback riding and a water fight. The club had many fund raising projects such as the Sports Mara- thon, selling cards and ribbons. These activities enabled G.A.A. to sponsor the Girls' Senior-Faculty Basketball Game. All the awards were presented and Athlete of the Year was announced at the Final Banquet. All the fun happenings of the year were brought back to stir every- one's memories to help make the atmosphere at the banquet happy, yet sad. Sad because the year was over, but happy because everyone knew that 1973-74 was G.A.A.'s best year ever! Varsity and l.V. volleyball players plot against faculty. This is my best side. ,
