We visited colleges in hopes of finding one to our liking. Getting together with South Hills and Covina High Schools for a picnic was really fun. Our Book Fair turned out to be a great success and enabled us to go on more field trips to places like Disneyland! We raised money by sel- ling chocolate Easter eggs and having carwashes. A dinner was held to in- stall our new officers and welcome the new members. We even held a cartoon festival! Guess who the star was?! Your favorite and ours-the Road Runner! We had a lot of fun this year and hope to keep our grades high enough to insure us another year in C.S.F. Wait a minute! The teacher is coming! Involvement 175

174 Involvement ltliori As one of Northview's service clubs, we've been very busy this year. What did we do? An Easter party for underprivileged children was just one thing we did. We earned money by selling candy canes. As usual we held the annual Valentine's Ball and this year we of- fered SINGING valentines! You bought 'em, we sang 'em! A Thanksgiving progressive dinner, in which each course was served at a different house, was another way we earned money. This year sure was hectic, but we enjoyed it.
