The LeMasque Bal was a great success! The band, Southbound, was really good and Wow! You should have seen some of the costumes! . The Marklinian-Thorian Basketball game was just one of our activities. Dur- ing that time basketball practice became very common among us, but the time spent was fun and worthwhile. We also sponsored the 50's dance, another favorite, and participated in the P.T.A.'s Boutique. .tJ.l.U Anyone who wants to learn or gain experience in the audio-visual field can become a member of the N.V.T.V. crew. We videotaped football games, cheer- leading competition practices, and tele- vision programs for classroom use throughout the year. Any club or group that needed our service always found that we were more than willing to do whatever we could to help. We worked hard, learned a lot, and had a great time doing it! rtcl b Art Club offers us an opportunity to express ourselves creatively. Early in the school-year we took part in Eastland's Christmas Tree Dcorating Contest, for which we received twenty- five dollars prize money. Neat, huh? The money was saved for a field trip which we took at the year's end. A lot of our talent was displayed at the P.T.A. Fine Arts Night. We also worked with the La Raza Unida in sponsoring a Cinco de Mayo art show. lnvolvement169
