girls le g e This past year, like every year, we wanted to do something special. Well, we put our heads together and came up with the All Girl Revue. With a lot of work we managed to come up with enough money to sponsor the Christmas Ball at the Diamond Bar Country Club. Instead of a Big and Little Sister Tea we had a Bar-B-Que to acquaint all freshmen girls with Northview. After the Drill Team and Pep Unit performed, the little sisters were taken on a tour of the school. Again the annual All Girl Slumber Party was a great success. We ate pizza, played volleyball, and watched a great movie. We really worked hard and it all paid off. What a year! drum cl b Drama Club, as you all know, is a club for those who have or would like to develop theatrical abilities. Through continual encouragement and direction we were able to achieve this goal. We passed out suckers to promote the play FLOWERS FOR ALGERNON We passed out suckers to promote the play FLowERs FoR ALGERNON and sold golden mum corsages for Homecoming to raise enough money to produce the play. .f.s. lt's going to be super hard to top this year's AFS. because we sure worked hard and got it together. For those who don't know, A.F.S. fAmerican Field Servicel is a club in- terested in communication with foreign countries. That's why we sponsor an exchange student who comes from a foreign coun- try and lives with an Ameri- can family during her sen- ior year. Fun was just about the only word to describe this year. We went to the L.A. County Fair, had a recep- tion and picnic for all the A.F.S. clubs in the area. The picnic was especially fun because we had a jack -O- lantern carving contest which we won. Our prize- one candied apple to be divided among 15 messy carvers. Selling suckers and hav- ing car washes were just a few ways we raised money. Plenty of time and hard work was put into these ac- tivities and every bit proved worthwhile.
