So the year has almost ended. Many things are the same. Again we're the undefeated champions in football and girl's basketball. The boys basketball team lost only one game and still we're the season champions. Among some of the surprises was a somewhat milder winter as compared to last year. The snow did not come till late in january. Up until then the weather was relatively warm. The gymnastics team has really done well again. Some surprising new talent came from some of the newer mem- bers. As few of the veteran members surprised us too. Many students started packing their own lunches, something new to many of them. School lunches went up to sixty-five cents, so the students decid- ed to save their money for better things. Fewer students were enrolled here this year. This meant many of us lost some good friends, but in spite of this we all still made many new friends. No matter what happened this year, it will always be remembered. This is Mrs. Gill alone in her chair, trying to smile, for that man over there fthe photographerl. I l - f . LOOK MA, NO HANDS! Mr. Summerville demonstrates lprobably for the umpteenth timei to his gym class the correct way to hurdle a hurdle. Students were expected to master the secrets of track over a period of 2 to 3 weeks. J A L ' Typical tenstive typists type tediously to tell their teacher that they too can type the teacher's tasks.
