The 1979-80 wrestling team went through the season with a 3-4 record. This is one of our best records in the history of Northside lr. wrestling. Our captains this year were Chris Nin- inger, Billy Howard, and jeff Wright who did an excellent job leading the team. Our sportsmanship this year was good except on a few occasions. All the wrestlers, from Coach Schuyler's viewpoint, went into every match with the intention of clobbering or at least beating the opponent. Our assistant, Coach Deacon, did a very superior job of showing the team members moves and also disciplining the team. This was the largest wrestling team ever at NIHS as you can see from the team picture. Coach Schuyler, who is also a Civics teacher, hopes that there will be another large tur- nout next year and thanks everyone who came out for the team this year and wishes them lots of luck in their wrestling future. jeff Wright, Chris Nininger, and Billy Howard were chosen as captains of our wrestling team this year.
