This years football team went unde- feated for the fourth straight year. Coach Maynard commented We had one of our better teams this year. The defense was outstanding this year giv- ing up only 15 points. We had a very strong defense. We made a couple mis- takes that the other team capitalized on. The team worked very hard practic- ing 6 hours in the summer and 2 1f2 once school started. They ran the hill 74 times at once and ran 85 wind sprints. The turn out this year was like it usu- ally is, alot of them quit. They just couldn't cut the mustard quoted Coach Maynard. Seventy - five percent of the team really worked hard this year. Next year Coach Maynard wants more 7 - 8 graders. We beat each team by at least 3 touchdowns. We have had 33 straight games without a loss.
