Their proi- ects include the Bortholemew County Clothing Drive, a par- ent-student banquet, chapter and district contests and tool and seed sales. Students help fill reading needs Library assistants spent their assigned study hall time help- ing to check out books, stamp passes, collect overdue book fines, and shelve books in the library. Reading lab teachers were able to spend more time with individual students because their monitors performed cer- tain clerical duties for them.
