Junior Brian Allardt walked off with the outstanding swimmer award at the annual winter sports banquet. George Butterfield received the most improved swimmer award. Senior Ken Kratz, who broke his finger in the sectional, received the outstan- ding diver award. Coach Howard Bunch presented junior Peter Voss with the exemplary attitude award. Outstanding freshman was Andy Tharp. Ends 5-15 Without any seniors on the baseball team, the varsity posted a 5-15 record, while against OC teams the young Titans were 2-8. Coach Don Fields, along with the rest of the squad were optimistic from the outset of the year. Sophomore David Duerson and junior Kent Johnson hit the longest homeruns ever hit at Northside. Both homers went into the tennis courts.
