Sophomore Spirit Sporks Closs With two busy years behind them and two ahead, the class of '79's main concern was fund raising. They started the year with the dance Discomania, featuring disc jockey Paul Mendenhall. The class sold Christmas carnations and par- ticipated in the Winter Festival. The class shared many talents in a variety of areas. Musically, Bob Osborne and Mike Waters portrayed Professor Higgins and Colonel Pickering in the production of My Fair Lady . ln sports, Dave Duerson quarterbacked the varsity football team, and started at guard in varsity basketball games. The class officers for the year were Matt Millikan, president: Lisa Greenwood, vice-presidentg Lisa Marsh, secretaryg and Barb Brand, treasurer. A spirited David Quinn jumps exuberantly into the pool during life saving class, forgetting one thing. . .his clothes.
