Deportment Presents Musicol The Northside Swing Choir spread Titan cheer throughout the state in their many performances this year. Early in the year they had the honor of performing for the Indiana Music Educators Association. Swing Choir members took an active part in the department's production of My Fair Lady. The group entertained at everything from a Valentine's Day dinner to an Easter show at the mall. Holidays were a busy time for Northern Lights members, also. At Christmas, they joined with the other choirs to take part in the annual Christmas sing. An Easter cantata was presented by the choirs at a local church on Palm Sunday. If you have an interest in music, the Northside Music department has a group to satisfy it. Concert Choir and Glee Club were involved in many programs this year. They participated in the musical, My Fair Lady , the annual Christmas sing, the Easter cantata, and gradua- tion. The two vocal groups were directed by Mrs. Doris Faulkner. Mr. Bill Deal directed the in- strumentalists through a busy schedule. The orchestra added a professional touch to the department's musical. The Jazz Ensemble, formerly the Stage Band, presented a jazz con- cert in the fall and participated in nearly all pep sessions. Their lively music was important in raising spirit.
