Art, Industrial Arts Display Creativity Paintings, sculptures, showcase displays, posters, and the Christmas windows were just a few of the art department projects which brighten- ed the hallways. Students found they could express their creativity through courses such as Ceramics, Printmaking, Visual Arts, Textiles, Jewelry, and Advertising Design. Art class members expanded their knowledge with a field trip to ln- dianapolis, where they visited ln- diana Central College, the indiana Flepertory Theatre, and the ln- dianapolis Art Museum. Art Club members held monthly workshops where they created products such as jewelry. New to the department was Mr. Kenneth Kronewitter, who replaced Mr. Don Rogers. The industrial technology depart- ment appealed to both males and females, offering such classes as Graphic Arts, Electricity and Photography. Mr. Jack McCurdy, new to Northside this year, taught courses in Woods, Metals, and Syntheticsg and Architectural Drafting. Smile!
