Programming the computer proves to be a war between men and machine for Steve Maves and Phil Juday who peer teach with its help. x,M,,,,,,, piicti Moth Classes Provide Troining If Students in Mr. Mike Paluch's Algebra I class 108 Compression make use of their study time by asking questions on their homework. As another year passed by, freshmen and sophomores were finishing their required mathematics classes. Some students discovered through their General Business and Shop Math classes new techniques and ideas that will be helpful in the future. Juniors and seniors ad- vanced to harder classes such as Algebra and Geometry, while others went on to subjects like Trigonometry, Analytic Geometry, and Calculus. Science Depoirtment Fills Requirements The basis for many science department classes remained the same-lab work. Nearly all science classes involved some type of obser- vation. From biology to physics, students gained first-hand knowledge through involvement in labs and experiments. An infamous odor fragranted the hallways for several weeks as zoology students explored the interior of the dogfish shark during an extensive dissection lab. The department provided a firm background for career-minded students, offering such classes as botany, chemistry, environmental science, and aerospace science. Physics Club members expanded their studies during a visit to the Physics Club open house at Indiana if twist e ' K University. CUT ALONG DOTTED LINE.
