Dwight Bartlett--Dwight p l ay e d both varsity and B team as second base. Dwight put in a good s e a s o n for the Rams with his spirit and ability. He had a high batting average and lots of desire to win. Joe Jones--Joe, a junior, became a good pitcher for the team. Joe gained much experience and had the hu stle, spirit, and desire of a fine player. Norths1de's p itc he r s showing their form are Bobby Pittman Craig Blank enship and Joe Jones Tom Boutwell Torn started this year as centerfield Although this was Tom s first year on the varsity he gain ed much experience and was able to start He showed he wanted to play by his hustle and desire Ernest Valdez Ernie a Junior was about the fastest man on the team He filled the position of shortstop and had one of the highe st batting averages for the team Ernie kept the team alive and put many an opposing player out by his long throw to first base , - . Bobby Pittman Bobby played an outstanding season for the Rams Bobby a senior was elected to the Hall of Fame for his control and pitching ability Bobby won many games for the Rams Marvin Ohlenbusch Marvin a sophomore played both varsity and 'B team this year as catcher Marvin did the best of his ability whenever he was called upon He gained ex- perience and showed good improvement Henry Trevino-' Moose Henry was often called was the long ball hitter the team Henry a soph- omore, racked more home runs than anyone on the team. He played outfield and showed good spirit and hustle. Craig Blankenship Craig played his first year of varsity ball for the Rams as a pitcher Craig a senior had a good fast ball as well as control and speed He was always ready to play and had good spirit James Dressen--Chuck a junior played an out- standing year for the Rams He played the po- sition of catcher and was also one of our finest hitters. Chuck received his third letter this year and will be a bright hope for next year's team.
