The annual FFA FI-IA Barn Dance with music by George Chambers and his Country Gentlemenwas at tended by both students and ex graduates Everyone let thelr hair down and enjoyed themselves yr' Al- m- UIQ 'W GW W K 15 -'71 The second year homemaking class works hard learning the many phases of Home Economics Pat DeSha Marian Albritton Fran Guy and Paule tt e -Xcker are shown working on their clothing construction unit FHA is an important part of the Vocational Home Econo mics program Head cheerleader Hank Cox is assisted by the other cheerleaders, Joe Wallace and Jerry W alla c e, in giving support to the Running Runts in the first annual powder- puff football game . The boys acted as cheer- leaders and the girls as football players. The two sparkling trophies were won by teams of four girls for the Seventeen Table setters Contest held by Joske's For two ye ar s Northside has won the grand prize for having set the best table of all the schools in San Antonio The girls who participated in the contest thlsyear were Margaret Hand Juanelll-Iill Chyrell Terrell and Teresa Blackwell Z' 136 L Y - .
