She enjoys tumbling and looks forward to the time of year for that sport The girls learn many phases of tumbling as well as the art of falling to prevent hurting them selves In vorlous sports X . , min Preparing for a tennis match are Joe Mathis, Peggy Trahan, and Jonnie Jungerman, the members of the Northside tennis team. These three students did a very fine job of representing Northside on the tennis court during the year They went to one district meet in Karnes City This was the second year that Peggy and Ionnre have played tennis They represented Northside playing doubles Joe Mathis played in the boys singles He was the first boy to represent Northside in the district tennis meet Mrs Betty Reynolds enjoys refeieerng the various games that her P E classes play during the year Volleyball is one of her favorite sports her excitement at these games is equal to that of her students Some of the girls are playing volleyball on a court that has been set up in the school s gym This is only one of the many games that the girls play during their hour of P E The girls P E classes are under the direction of Mrs Betty Reynolds 'Nr-re Ur-V L -'ea-vvsn F ' r' 87 0 O : .
