The rings have finally come and the juniors eagerly wait in line for them. lt doesn t seem possible to them that they have finally received them and are just one step away from being seniors. '1 Pictured are several junior girls placing orders for their senior rings. The juniors were measured for their rings in March. The ringswill be the standard design: gold, with aruby-red stone, with a ram's head on one side and a crest on the other.

This scene shows Nancy Magee as Veta Louise Simmons Ruth Sturdevant as Myrtle Mae Sim - mons and Paul McCoig as Judge Omar Gaffney. The picture hanging above the fireplace is of Elwood P. Dowd and his imaginary rabbit friend Harvey. Jerry Turner played the part of Elwood in the seniors presentation of the play- Harvey played himself! 443' Seated at the head tableof the 1959 Stardust Prom are the presidents of the Junior and Senior classes the Master of Ceremonies and their dates Pictured are Wanda Clark senior class president and her date Keith Mason the Master of Ceremonies Joe Kmdred and his date Danell Wallis and the Junior class pres Beverly Hopwood and her date Eddy Shahady 2 Jr Pictured is the raft in the middle of the swimming pool at Landa Park New Braunfels Those attending the Junior Senior Picnic enjoyed swimming in the big pool on that warm May Saturday The picnic 1S the last real chance for the Juniors and seniors to get together and have fun before they settle down to the grind of studying for their finals .lolnt Surprised, but happy, Barbara Bruhl and Joe Asher were crowned King and Queen of the 1959 Stardust Junior-Senior Prom. They ruled over the gala cele- bration that was held at the Olmos Dinner Club on the evening of May 9, 1959.
