-Q 7 This is the entire cast ofthe Speech Club 's production of GREEN GROW THE LILACS as they posed for a quick snap- shot just before they had their all-night celebration. Barney Eiserloh played the part of Curley McClain and Ray Rimkus the part of Jeeter Fryg they went to Goliad, Texas and presented one scene of GREEN GROW THE LILACS in the lnterscholastic League One Act Play Contest. Their play was awarded first place, and Ray Rimkus received the Best Actor award. Interscholostic League Contest l The cast of the play HARVEY takes a curtain call after the last performance of the play, They received a large ovation from the audience for a job well done. The cast from left to right are: Frank Newcomb, Lynton Eckhart, Ruth Sturdevant, Richard Perkins, Crystle Benke, Donna Utz, San-- ford Sandy Coon, Harvey, Jerry Turner, Sherry Parrott, Paul McCoig, and Nancy-Gail Magee. iw 6 n ,, . f' .- V v K4 g ' Mrs. Peebles did an excellent job on the make-up for both plays. Here she is putting the finishing touches on Jeeter Fry, played by Ray Rimkus. She had just finished putting the make -up on Old Man Peck, play- ed by Johnny Brannon. There is much skill involved in applying make-up, the audience must not be able to see it easily. 133
