The polls were set up in the auditorium and each student was given the opportunity to vote for his choice for the Student Council president for the 1959-1960 schooltyear. K' Xsx x i Q ,, ., I Danell Wallis and Harry Haggard, the two candidates in the run-off election for Student Councilpresident, hear the results of the election. Oh, how wonderful 2 was the only exclamation that could be heard from Danell when she heard the news that she had won the election. Harry showed good sportsmanship by eagerly congratu- lating Danell. This was the climax of one ofthe most exciting Student Council elections ever held at Northside. Later in the year, Harry was elected to the post of treasurer of the Student Council for the 1959-1960 school year. 99
