The theme was Faith of Our Fathers, and Shirley Weimer, Bill Worth, Karen Jost, Gus Neutze, Phil Ljungdahl, and Ruby Austin participated.

One of the many problems the s chool board has to face is the pressing one of increasing enrollment. More schools and more teachers are needed to meet the increasing number of children enrolling in the Northside district. The school board not only has to meet the growing pains but also has to balanc e the budget. The first school board was formed in 1949. Its first members were B.G.
