From a small rural high school to an established independent school dis- trict this pioneer has helped to further the in- terests of the community. Not only an employee but also an avid supporter of all school functions, this man has be c orne a friend to all who know him. And so, to our custodian, Mr. Fritz Liebe, we proudly dedicate the HORN. 51,- t0l'l6J!y perguaziion 41-KN f'g?f.PPL'E?,g M LJfHJ F L gl E Q 1 p i x l ff A 'T E A 1 1 M A. ,A 2 ,, l,M Q 1 5 f In W 3 3 y fwfr M N E95 5 X 9 1 X -5 f 'S. l.-1. ,L JE, J-'JEJ Ml A F f .3 ss. One of the many problems the s chool board has to face is the pressing one of increasing enrollment. More schools and more teachers are needed to meet the increasing number of children enrolling in the Northside district. The school board not only has to meet the growing pains but also has to balanc e the budget. The first school board was formed in 1949. Its first members were B.G. Mueller fpresidentl, Mrs. Harry Zenner Qsecretaryj, Dr. W,Z . Burke, Clarence Galm, Howard H. Watson, Lloyd M. Knowlton, and Benno Klabunde.
