SU PERINTENDENT J. W. Ramsey You will liind that the years that lie ahead will require greater training and preparation lor lile's responsibilities than has ever been required in the past. For that reason you are urged to secure at least two or more years ol colleqe education if possible. Whether you start to work or wait until you have finished college, it is important that you keep in mind the principles of thoroughness, honesty, and hard work which you have been taught in your high school career. Many young people lose their first positions because they do not appreciate the importance ol those princi- ples. The secret of promotion and success in life is in constantly doing more than you are paid to do. Keep yourself underpaid--as soon as you are overpaid, you are bound to go backward. Z

And through it all, in worlc and play, in ioy and disappointment, you have had many an ad- venture, many achievements, and many a thrill. Out ot these memorable experiences ot high-school days have come the dreams, the ambitions, and the ideals you now have and with which you taco a challenging tuture. As we say good-bye, it is the sincere wish ot your school, and my own personal prayer, that these ideals may lead you--- every one ot you---to greiter achievements tor yourselt and your country. f
