118 ROTC There are a variety of extra — curricular activities in AFJROTC. Among the extra — curricu- lar activities include the color guards, the rescue club, the regulation drill teams, the armed drill teams, the rocketry club, the sabre team, and the flag corps. These groups have planned activities throughout the year. Members of the color guard, drill team, sabre team and flag corps that partici- pate in seventy-five percent of the performances and ninety percent of the practices earn a Northside letter. At Robins AFB, GA a summer leadership school, which lasts all week, is held for 21 selected cadets. It is taught by the AFJROTC instructors and all PMC instructors. The cadets are billeted at RAFB. At Gunter AFB in Atlanta, GA, a senior summer leadership school is held for eight days for only three selected cadets.
