An assembly marked the beginning of a full week- end of homecoming events for Northside. The 1970-71 Homecoming Court was presented to the student body. The class representatives were Sophomores Nancy Foreman and Melanie Leeg Juniors Kathy Hester and Lynn Wynrickg and Se- niors Linda Forrester, Vicki Conley and Gail Mon- IOC. Special events were the Homecoming game, dance, parade, and the crowning of Homecoming Queen Miss Gail Monroe. On Thursday October 22 1970 the homecoming parade, in which the homerooms entered cars and clubs entered floats was held. Friday was the night of the big game at which the Senior football players and their sponsors were introduced. At halftime, the home coming court was presented, and the traditional dozen red roses were given to the homecoming queen by Miss Mabelle Parrish, Homecoming Queen 1969-70. Homecoming activities were climaxed by the dance on Saturday night.
