Facing Life Together On a cool September morning the fourteenth school year began at Northrop. The 22 yellow buses un- loaded their passengers next to the two-story brick building on Cold- water Road. The flow of bodies merged with those leaving the park- ing lot and filled the commons to re- kindle friendships. At 7:55 a.m. the warning bell sounded and the student body moved en masse toward their home rooms to begin the day. Following the eight o ' clock bell, Mr. Brown, as- sistant principal, kicked off the year with a Welcome Back and the morning announcements. The senior class was excited about their last year at Northrop and thought about the future. The ju- niors anticipated their senior year while the sophomores laughed with false maturity at the confused fresh- man and were glad that they never acted like that.
