First Day Of School How do | open my locker? Where is room 47? These are just a few of the questions that can be heard in the halls on the first day of school. North- ridge began the 1982-83 school year with the Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes listening to Principal James McCormick explain the rules the student body is expected to live by. He also introduced the new additions to the Northridge faculty. The following day, the Freshman heard a slighty more detailed version of the same speech designed to prepare them for a life at Northridge. After that the students were released to go find their classrooms but most of them were too busy talking to friends they hadn’t seen all summer. They also wanted to catch up on all the latest gossip.
