A Mixture of Meanings School life is full of exciting events. A few of these have been shown in the preceding pages. School is not only homework and tests, it is also fun. For those interested in sports there is bas- ketball, football, and track. There is a variety of clubs from Y-Teens to Varsity N''. As you can see the stu- dents at Northridge High School try hard at work and at play. These pictures represent a few of the activities that go on at Northridge High School. Fall Is Football Fall is football and fall came to Northridge High School this year. Autumn marks the beginning of the regular season of scheduled contests in the South Western Buckeye League. Actually football starts in January with a weight lifting program, which is continued throughout the summer. In August, a grueling month, there are practices two times a day, six days a week, for two weeks. You can see there are months of work behind the fall version of football. Our football team, in regard to Statistics, might not have been as good as some other schools, but our players worked just as hard, Coach Hellyer, assists with words of encouragement. Bears bursting through pre-game hoop!
