Donna Stenibach and Dorothy Good had equal stand- ings to tie for valedictorians for the first time at Northridge. Terry Gibson received the annual B ' nai B ' rith award. The Danforth Foundation award in recognition of leadership was presented to seniors Dorothy Good and Rick Bachelor. The Ohio Education annual eighth grade test that was taken, Vaughn Beams placed in the upper 99 percentile. DAR award went to Dorothy Good. Dayton Bar Association award went to Linda Combs. The Mathematics Association of America award was given to Dorothy Good. The American Legion Outstanding Senior award recipient was Ben Thomas. American Legion Essay awards were presented to Judy Lane, Rick Bachelor, Betty Secrest, Curtis Evans, Janice Recher, William Cook, Judith Royse, and William Petticrew.
