Because I'm too lazy to work and too scared to steal. — Mr. Beach I was always in trouble for talking in study hall. During my sophomore year the study hall teacher 'volunteered' me to help with a self-paced math pro- gram. As a result of this class, I developed an interest in working with students with learning problems. — Miss Walker I didn't decide to become a teacher, it just happened. — Mrs. King So I could have my summers off enabling me to go back to school. — Mr. Warner I enjoy motivating students to realize that learning is a lifelong process and adventure and seeing the smiles on their face when they reach this realization. — Mrs. Lee 13

I have always believed that the best possible leadership displayed by teachers is leadership by example. If a teacher can en- thusiastically support his or her students in all endeavors of school life, then the teacher has led by example.
