Anywhere, Provided lt Be at -f As the years progress, each generation must be prepared to step into the shoes of its predeces- sor. ln America, we must strive to preserve the many heritages which those before us fought and died to achieve. ln order to do so, all Americans, great and small, must work in unison, for everyone has a task to perform that will benefit our overall development. We must look to the future in everything we do to insure the continuance of our prosperity. The graduating class of Northport High School has the ability and potential to play its allotted role in our country's growth. Each mem- ber of our class must and will, in his own different way, proceed anywhere . . . provided it be for' ward.

After due deliberation, it became obvious that one man stood out above all others. His ever-present backing and aid, though given in all modesty, has been recognized. We dedicate Tiger Tales, l958, to Herbert L. Livingstone. Although Mr. Livingstone came to us in our sophomore year, through his sincere interest and unselfish attitude, he immediately ignited a new flame of enthusiasm within us while helping enormously in all our class functions and activities. Even those who did not have him as a teacher felt the effects of this remarkable man. His invaluable aid carried through our iunior and senior years. lt is through this dedication, Mr. Livingstone, that we wish to thank you for the friendly willingness you have expressed in serving us. Your efforts will never be forgotten and we hope you may guide other classes as you have so generously guided us. 1l 11'!sxX'.x .'.H'.'. .-'JI l'5L'.1X'-'. ' - N . n - x '
