Dowd Cindy Stephens as Myrtle Mae Simmons Annie Hiotis as Veta Louise Simmons Angie Woodie as Mrs. Ethel Chauvenet Mike Lynch as Judge Omar Gaffney Randy Helton as Dr. Chumley Harvey as Harvey Harvey takes place in a small town in the mid-west. Veta Louise Simmons attempts to commit her brother, Elwood P. Dowd, who claims his best friend is a six foot invisible white rabbit named Harvey. Instead of committing Elwood, Veta manages to be committed herself. The confusion of who is committing and who is to be committed leads to Dr. Sander- son's discharge, causes Veta to be man-handled, allows El- wood to escape and antagonizes everyone involved. As always, Elwood is able to overcome all obstacles .... with the aid of his friend, Harvey.
